Getting the Most from Your Web
Mail
Web mail may be used
from any computer, even when you are traveling as long as you have a connection
to the internet. There are no long
distance phone charges this way.
You are looking at your email on our server and until you download it to
your computer, using Outlook Express or another mail server, it will remain on
our system until you delete them.
To access your Web
Mail, follow the following directions:
1.
Contains your email
that is currently sitting on our mail server.
1.
You may draft new email
messages from this box.
1.
Contains any emails you
have sent from this area.
1.
Contains any emails you
have deleted from your inbox.
2.
You must delete them
from this trash box to clear them completely. The mail server will automatically
delete your trash folder on Tuesday each week.
3.
Contains any SPAM you
have received if you are set up on our SPAM PROTECTION.

Add your own custom
filter rules here. Here's how:

Choose an action from
the menu on the left. (Accept Mail,etc.)
3.
Type the e-mail address
into the field on the right.
4.
Click on the "Add Rule"
button.
OPTIONS
Across the top of this page you will see several choices of things that you can do with Web Mail.
1.
Compose: This is where you can write and send
your outgoing email.
2.
Addresses: This is an
address book for your outgoing email.
3.
Folders: You may set up individual folders here
so that you may sort your incoming mail for future use.
4.
Options: There are several things that you can do
from this page.
a.
Personal
Information: You may complete as much or as little of
this information as you wish. What
you do give will appear on your outgoing email.
b.
Display
Preferences: You may leave this as a default and your
page will appear each time as you see it.
You may make changes to this to allow things like your weather report to
appear when you sign on.
c.
Message
Highlighting: Based upon given criteria, incoming messages can have
different background colors in the message list. This helps to easily
distinguish who the messages are from, especially for mailing lists. Example: If you receive mail from your mother,
you can set it to come onto your page in red.
d.
Folder Preferences:
These settings change the way your folders are displayed and
manipulated.
e.
Index Order: The index
order is the order that the columns are arranged in the message index. You can
add, remove, and move columns around to customize them to fit your
needs.
f.
TWC Weather: Not available at this time
Setup the weather
displaying options. You can add all the cities you want to monitor as well as
various options to display.

To set the area for the
weather report to appear on the side of your page you should set your Display
Preferences, size of your editor window to 76.
g. Spell Checker: Can be used when you compose an
email.
SEARCH
You can search for a
particular email on your page using several different sort
criteria.
Example: If you were
looking an email from someone, just put in their name and click “Name” in the
box on the right that gives a choice of criteria.
You may search your
inbox, sent box or your trash box in either the Body, Everywhere, Subject, From,
CC (copy) or To tab.
CALENDAR
Double Click on the
date where you want to add information
Click on add on the time line (right side)
Enter the information as the boxes indicate
Title will appear on calendar as will message area
After information is
completed, click on set event, Go to day view , you can
edit or delete event .
After editing click on update
event.
It will ask you do you really want to change this message, Yes or
no
